The Sea Palms Motel would like to welcome you and your church youth group to an exciting summer full of serving the Lord. The staff and youth directors are fully committed to helping teens witness to other people. They also want you to be able to see Jesus living in their lives as well.

The Summer Youth Missions Ministry has been in affect since the summer of 2000, and it has been a blessing to our community ever since. The Sea Palms Motel is family owned and operated by the Mitchell family, who are fully active with every youth group that visits. Jesus came to “heal the broken hearted, liberate the bruised and set the captives free,” and for over 6 years, we’ve helped people do exactly that.

While visiting Myrtle Beach there are many places and things to do, with each group having the chance to witness to many people that have never heard God’s word. The summer missions program is not only for youth groups to witness to other people but for them to learn and grow in God’s word. Whatever your calling and capabilities are, there’s a world that needs you because the world needs Jesus. Are you willing to make yourself available to be used by God this summer?

Last summer, 2005, we had 94 people, young and old, to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This is what the Summer Youth Missions Ministry is all about.

The Sea Palms Motel has much to offer to those seeking a way to help others get closer to God while getting closer to the Lord themselves. We have a patio area on the Boulevard available to summer missionary youths who would like to entertain while witnessing to those in need. We also have a large area where we have had everything from “movie night” to a “farewell party”. It is our mission to not only allow youths to reach out to those in need but to also allow them to have fun and meet people from the east coast. We hope that every person will leave with new friends, memories, and a life changing experience.

The Sea Palms Motel is located in the “Heart of Myrtle Beach with Myrtle Beach on our Hearts.” We seek to save the lost and to make this world a better place to live. We also want to glorify God through various mission opportunities for children and youth in these ministries. We desire to:

Provide an enviroment that fosters Godly relationships, as well as physical and spiritual renewual.

Guide and challenge them through discipleship by offering a summer missionary on staff that is grounded in the Bible and faith.

To lead them to salvation or recommitment to the Lord Jesus Christ is our goal.

Develop leaders that affect their world at home and abroad.
